This week saw the passing of two leaders in the wine industry.

Willy Frank, a tireless promoter of New York state wine, died of a stroke Tuesday, March 7 in Naples, Fla. at the age of 80.

Rodney Strong, the former Broadway dancer whose forty-year career in the wine business made him one of the most respected vintners in Sonoma County, died March 5 at age 78.
