Celebrity chefs play to win at charity poker tournament.
By Wine Enthusiast
Poker at a casino is standard fare, but add in some celebrity chefs and the game takes on an interesting dimension. This past weekend at the Foxwoods Food and Wine Festival, Brasserie executive chef Franklin Becker knocked off chefs David Burke (New York-based davidburke & donatella), Harold Dieterle (Top Chef, Season 2) and Michael Schlow (Boston-based Radius) early in the game with his straight flush to the jack. Becker walked away a winner of the Foxwoods Celebrity Chef Poker Tournament for charity.
