Destination Bottles:

Mount Eden 1997 Old Vine Pinot Noir (Santa Cruz Mountains)
Domaine Leroy 1999 Charmes Premier Cru (Meursault)
R. Lopez de Heredia 1978 Viña Tondonia Gran Reserva (Rioja)

Wine and Beverage Director Jeff Bareilles takes particular pride in pairing wines with the restaurant’s many vegetarian offerings.

“About three years ago, I was at Love Apple Farm walking through the garden with Cynthia Sandberg [the farmer]. As we meandered through the planted beds, she would pick an herb or vegetable and hand me a bit to taste and comment on its flavor. I sensed this was the way she walked through the garden when she was by herself. After about 24 different tastes, I said, ‘I wish we could make cocktails with some of these ingredients.’ A light went on for both of us.” —Jeff Bareilles
