“I think there are customers who come to the Kittle House and have appetizers and entrées just to get to dessert,” notes Glenn Vogt, wine director and general manager. “The warm Valrhona chocolate gift with crème a l’anglaise and crème chantilly has reached near legendary proportions. It is so popular it can never come off of the menu.”

Perfect Pairing
The yellowfin tuna pizzetta—spicy tuna tartare on a crisp sushi rice cake with spicy Japanese aioli—paired with Ravines’ Argetsinger Vineyard Riesling from the Finger Lakes Region in upstate New York demonstrate how spicy dishes and off-dry wines work perfectly together.

Tours of the wine cellar, housed in a series of former stables are available.
