The Wine Program
Striving to include innovative, offbeat and value-driven wines, the list enhances the savory and complex menu of Andrew Bonner, the executive chef. Hand-crafted, sustainable and natural wines (particularly from small producers) are at the list’s core. The by-the-glass program represents a personal crusade by Liz Vilardi, co-owner and beverage director, to stir curiosity about lesser-known and site-unique choices. It strives to open guests’ eyes to varieties like Grignolino, Rotgipfler, Gamay and Chenin Blanc.

Favorite Dish
Poached farm egg with gorgonzola polenta, roots, mustard greens and spring onions.

About the Team
A former musician in the rock band Piebald, Bonner traded his bass for a chef’s knife and began his career at The Blue Room eight years ago.
