This classic cocktail, named after a silent film from 1922 starring Rudolph Valentino, has served as inspiration for mixologists across the country. Try mixing up these deliciously simple ingredients at home.

Blood & Sand

1 ounce Scotch whisky
1 ounce Cherry Heering
1 ounce orange juice
1 ounce sweet vermouth

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake, and strain into a chilled martini glass.
