San Francisco-based American Truffle Co. is encouraging North American vineyard owners to plant trees designed to encourage truffles to grow.

California Vintage, a chain of California-themed wine bars launching across Asia, will open its first branch in January in Hong Kong. The restaurants will offer 80 wines by the glass from partner wineries, including Fritz, Hope, Peachy Canyon and Tierra Roja.
