Owner Larry Kurfosky, assisted by tongue-in-cheek titled Director of Liquids Christene Prentice, has a hand in everything. For starters, how about half-off wine night every Monday, which includes all wines offered by the glass, as well as selected wine list bottles? Executive Chef Robb Kirby and Chef Fernando Martinez send out plates like Lobster Baked Mac and Cheese with dazzling style. At the Seattle location, Assistant General Manager/sommelier Chris Horn, who has passed his first level from the Court of Master Sommeliers, might choose an indulgent Kongsgaard Chardonnay Napa Valley 2005 as a pairing for the lobster. In the mood to sip and graze? You can choose from the main floor bar with its 5,000 bottle wine tower, the downstairs cocktail bar, or the cozy loft with its tapas-style tasting bar.
