Wine Enthusiast’s Toast of the Town 2011 Series Kicks off in San Francisco
One of America's most anticipated wine and food events comes to five major cities, including San Francisco next month.
Wine Enthusiast’s premier consumer wine and food tasting affair, Toast of the Town, will be coming to a city near you soon. San Francisco, followed by New York, Washington, D.C., Chicago and, new this year, Miami, will be the location of this popular event, where attendees will have the opportunity to indulge in gourmet dishes from 30 top local restaurants, along with more than 500 select international wines in a world-class venue.
The first stop—San Francisco on Thursday, April 7th—will take place for the first time in the grand City Hall and feature food from notable restaurants, such as Sutro's at the Cliff House, Limón, Grand Café and Lucero Olive Oil, among many others.
Next is New York, where wine and food devotees will gather at Avery Fisher Hall, also a new location, in the heart of Lincoln Center on Thursday, May 5th. Washington, D.C.'s stunning National Building Museum marks the third Toast of the Town on Friday, May 20th, followed by the landmark Field Museum in Chicago on Friday, June 17th.
The series culminates in Miami, where Wine Enthusiast brings this widely acclaimed tasting event to the Adrienne Arsht Center. The Adrienne Arsht, a stunning cultural center, is the perfect backdrop for the hundreds of wines and signature dishes awaiting guests on Friday, September 23, 2011. Toast of the Town Miami marks the first time a wine and food event of this magnitude has ever been hosted at this renowned venue.
