French Agricultural Service Forecasts Poor 2013 Harvest

Plus news and notes from the world of wine, spirits and beer.

The French public agricultural service FranceAgriMer forecasts the country’s 2013 grape harvest to reach 43.5 million hectoliters. Despey attributes the poor harvest to this year’s cool temperatures, excessive precipitation and severe hailstorms throughout the country.
