In the spirit of Washington. Recipe courtesy Distilled Spirits Council.
Ingredients: Teaspoon of honey
Fresh fruit (a slice of orange or cherries works well)
¼ ounce anisette
Dash of Angostura bitters
1 ¼ ounces Bourbon
Directions: Place honey, fresh fruit and anisette in a rocks glass. Soak with bitters and gently muddle with a spoon. Add ice and Bourbon. Stir and serve.
