The Lark family brings a breadth of experience and passion to their country inn and restaurant. Owner/Maitre D' James holds many titles, including Maître Sommelier Vins de France and Chevalier du Tastevin; his wife, Mary, does all of the gardening and flowers in the restaurant. Daughter and wine director Adrian is a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers and recently she has been expanding the Spanish section of the wine list in keeping with the budget-challenged times. The walled-in European garden with its trellised grape vines offers guests an additional place to dine on the creations of self-taught Chef John Somerville, who has been in the kitchen since 1994. Don't miss his Rack of Lamb Genghis Khan, ideal with a bottle of Domaine du Pegaü Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
