How To: Use Roses in a Champagne Cocktail

Learn how to infuse your sparkler with roses in three easy steps.

Published on Jan 3, 2012

Synonymous with romance, roses are the perfect way to add a splash of panache to your cocktail. Start by making rose water.

1. Put 15 petals from clean, pesticide-free roses into a bowl and pour boiling water over them until fully covered.

2. Cover the bowl and let it cool, then refrigerate overnight.

3. Place some remaining rose petals in the bottom of a Champagne flute, fill with your favorite sparkling wine and add a splash of rose water.
