Published on May 7, 2010

May 9 is Mother’s Day--and you know what that means. Flowers. But if you haven’t already sent your mom a beautiful bouquet, why not surprise her with a twist on the floral theme and serve her a flower-based drink instead? We’ve got two easy-to-make cocktail recipes that feature flowers, including a punch perfect for Mother’s Day brunch.

Hibiscus Ginger Martini

1 ½ ounce Xante pear liqueur
1 ½ ounce lemon juice
1 ounce hibiscus-infused simple syrup
1 small piece fresh ginger

Muddle the ginger. Add Xante and all ingredients. Shake and sift twice. Serve in cocktail glass.
