1st ANNUAL NONSUCH FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL LAUNCHES IN NOVEMBER 2012

With an already well-established reputation among Antigua's dedicated yachting and water sport enthusiasts, Nonsuch Bay is charting a course into new waters this November with the appearance of its first annual Nonsuch Food and Wine Festival. Scheduled to take place from November 15 through December 6, 2012, the three-week long event will showcase some of the finest in Caribbean and local specialty Antiguan cuisine along with premier wines from across the globe.

Hosting this celebration of foods of the region and international wines are Mitchell Husbands, Caribbean Chef of the Year 2011, and Master of Wine Liam Stevenson of Red and White. Inspired by the growing interest in fine wines and contemporary Caribbean cuisine in the region and among travelers to Antigua, the festival will feature wine, champagne and rum tastings, cooking demonstrations, gourmet Caribbean street food, guest chef appearances and special tasting menus. It all culminates in a day-long extravaganza of both food and wine – Winestock – which takes place on November 25.
