The Bodega Seafood, Art & Wine Festival — Northern California’s largest seafood feast— will celebrate its 18th anniversary August 25 and 26, 2012. One of the most popular festivals in the Bay Area, the event annually attracts thousands of foodies, art aficionados, wine and beer connoisseurs and music lovers to picturesque Watts Ranch in the village of Bodega, where Alfred Hitchcock filmed his classic thriller, “The Birds.” More than 30 wineries and 15 micro breweries will pour in the large, party-atmosphered tasting tent, while 15 restaurants and catering companies will offer an exceptional bounty of seafood dishes, including barbecued oysters, crab cakes, Key Lime calamari, seafood chowder and other delicacies. Meat and vegetarian options will also be available, along with a plethora of delectable desserts. The work of 100 artists and craftsman will be featured at the juried fine art/craft marketplace, which attracts exhibitors from throughout the United States, and is . In addition to seafood, wine, beer and art, the festival also has three stages with a variety of musical entertainment, including excellent blues, jazz, rock, swing and Zydeco, as well as hilarious jugglers and other non-musical entertainment.
