HANDS-ON HARVEST EXPERIENCE AT THE NORTH WILLAMETTE HARVEST TRAIL & GRAND TASTING – OCTOBER 6, 2012

Tickets on sale for the second annual behind-the-scenes harvest trail with harvest activities in the vineyard, crush pad and winery.

Wine enthusiasts who dream of a vintner’s life can now roll up their sleeves and participate in Oregon’s 2012 Harvest alongside the valley’s best vineyard managers and winemakers during the North Willamette Harvest Trail & Grand Tasting on Saturday, October 6, 2012. Guests will visit three different wineries throughout the day to learn about the winemaking process from vineyard to crush pad to winery. Along the way, guests can walk through the vines, assist with punch downs and taste-test the wines. They will also enjoy light food pairings and a wine country picnic lunch. Educated (and humorous) wine industry tour guides including winemakers and proprietors will narrate each winery visit. The day’s tour will culminate with a Grand Tasting event at Garden Vineyards, where all North Willamette Vintner wineries will pour their wines paired with light appetizers. Guests will receive a commemorative wine glass and exclusive North Willamette Vintner mixed case discounts.

 o   $79 includes the full-day Harvest Trail from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the Grand Tasting from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., transportation, guided tour and harvest activities, lunch, wine tastings, light appetizers, North Willamette Vintners wine glass, and canvas tote bag with wine purchases at the Grand Tasting event.
