On Monday, February 25, 2013 Lincoln Ristorante celebrates its three month culinary exploration of Umbria with “Nero di Norcia,” an evening honoring the soulful dishes and wines of Italy’s “green heart.” The menu developed by Chef Jonathan Benno highlights the rustic and hearty ingredients for which Umbria is renowned such as pork, lentils, and the earthy and intoxicating Norcia Black Truffle. For dessert, Pastry Chef Richard Capizzi offers his refined interpretation of a classic chocolate confection from the region. Beverage Director Aaron Von Rock pours the best of Umbrian wines, including the renowned Sagrantino di Montefalco wines from Perugia, and guides guests through each pairing during the meal.
