Thursday, November 15th will be a day to remember with live music, festivities, and paying tribute to the Beaujolais Region and the wines it produces. To celebrate the launch of Beaujolais Nouveau and their 10th anniversary in NYC the Compagnons de Beaujolais will be hosting the event Rue de Beaujolais. The event begins at 10:30 AM L'Express restaurant (249 Park Avenue South 10003 on the corner of 20th Street), featuring Mr. Bernard Faro, vice-Consul General of France, Franck Duboef co-owner of Les Vins Georges Dubouef, and celebrity chef/culinary ambassadorJacques Pépin. From 11:30-12:15 Pèpin will be signing copies of his news cookbook, Pépin's New Complete Techniques. There will be two inductions of the Compagnons du Beaujolais and live music by Franglais throughout the day. A lunch and dinner will be open to the public at L'Express.
