On Friday, November 16, the James Beard Foundation (JBF), the world’s foremost culinary organization, will celebrate its 25th anniversary at its annual fall gala with a lineup of five James Beard “Outstanding Chef” Award winners. Hosted by decorated culinary icon Alfred Portale, the JBF Silver Anniversary Gala will feature a multi-course dinner inspired by recipes from James Beard’s original cookbook, Menus for Entertaining. The evening will also include a cocktail hour reception as well as silent and live auctions of once-in-a-lifetime experiences led by celebrity auctioneer Billy Harris.
