On Monday, November 12, Executive Chef Jonathan Benno of Lincoln Ristorante will serve a five-course dinner featuring a culinary treasure—the earthy, rare, and intoxicating white truffle—paired with the best of Piemonte wines. This season is a favorite time of year for Chef Benno, who in 2011 was named the “The World Ambassador of White Truffles of Alba,” the Piemonte town regarded as the capital of white truffles. White and early black truffles will be featured during the five-course meal and complemented by six Piemonte wines, beginning with a reception at 7:00pm. The menu of robust dishes includes Tajarin, hand cut pasta with butter, parmigiano-reggiano, and white Alba truffle, and Agnolotti di Vitello, braised veal agnolotti with white Alba truffle.
