"Nothing makes the future look so rosy as to contemplate it through a glass of wine.” - Napoleon Bonaparte If you were the ruler of the known universe, what would you drink? In this wine tasting class, you will not only learn the answer to that question, you will also have the rare chance to try them. As Emperor, Napoleon Bonaparte ruled over almost every wine growing country in Europe, including France, Italy, Spain, and Germany. He was also a great lover of the fermented grape. Along with a touch of history, we will be sampling the wine styles that he loved and admired; including a taste of the very last wine Napoleon ever drank. “Clearly, the pleasures wines afford are transitory - but so are those of the ballet, or of a musical performance. Wine is inspiring and adds greatly to the joy of living.” - Napoleon Bonaparte All information is provided by the listing user and is deemed reliable but is not guaranteed and should be independently verified. |
