Made with Chardonnay and Pinot Nero, this has a shy nose but eventually reveals medicinal herb and toasted bread crust. The rather lean, bitter palate offers walnut, yellow apple skin and a hint suggestive of adhesive bandage alongside firm acidity and sharp, brisk bubbles.
