This classically crafted, 100% Sangiovese offers varietal aromas of forest floor, freshly turned soil, dark berry and a whiff of violet. The firm palate offers dried black cherry, ground pepper and aniseed alongside assertive tannins. It's still rather closed and needs a couple more years to open up. Drink 2017–2022.
