The Chenin Blanc grape of Vouvray lends itself well to this lightly sweet style of wine (the French call it demi-sec). It is soft, with peach aromas and flavors, the taste of nuts and with good, balancing acidity. It leaves a clean, fresh, soft aftertaste.
