This brewery exclusive is a New England-style IPA that's double dry-hopped. Cloudy golden-yellow color in appearance (it is unfiltered), it opens with assertive notes of grapefruit zest, orange peel and dried mango, with supporting hits of fresh grass, soft pine and tea. The palate is grounded by a clean, wheaty malt core, supporting the intense hop and citrus fruit flavors as well as the bitterness. Medium carbonation keeps the palate fresh and vibrant, while citrus-rind flavors drive the finish.
