Very sweet and rich, and probably a little too much so for some folks. Aromas of cassis, berry liqueur and black fruit candy are sweet, sweet, sweet, but after the sugary richness subsides you do get a dark, brooding, mammoth Garnacha with prune, chocolate and baked power. A 15.5% heavyweight to drink before 2011.
