Inky aromas of ripe blackberry, black currant, lemon peel and graphite set up a chewy, concentrated, intense palate with blackened flavors of licorice, chocolate, peppercorn and blackberry. A charred, tannic, mouthfilling finish says this should spend more time on its side before opening. Hold until 2017, then drink through 2025.
