This wine shows great potential but is still so young and tightly wound, it takes time to suss out its delicately floral aromas of lavender and violet, which then give way to smooth, soft layers of peppercorn and chocolate. The tannins mellow on the finish, but this is big, bold wine made in a big, bold style.
