From a single vineyard of old vines, this is a deeply structured wine. The rare Jaen (in Spain the Mencia grape of the northwest) dominates and here gives a dark and dense wine. It has power, of course, but also style and elegance from the fruit and tannin balance. The strong mineral aftertaste promises further aging, so drink from 2016.
