Everything is so fascinating in this wine. Clos de la Bergerie is salty and sweet, as if sea salt had been gently sprinkled on the ripest of mangoes and sweet peaches. It is poised, like a dancer, while at the same time being full and powerful. Finally, the mineral, chalky character of pure Chenin Blanc comes through. Age this wine for at least five years.
