Aromas of wood dominate this 100% Merlot aged in oak for 12 months, which also shows on the palate. It is concentrated and firm with acidity although not much fruit yet. Give this wine until 2017. Franck Cot took over the family estate in 1996. The vineyard was certified sustainable in 2011.
