Oak, toasted almond and ripe stone fruit aromas lift out of the glass. The ripe—almost syrupy—palate offers butterscotch, vanilla, mature yellow apple and confectionary notes while the almond tone gives it a bitter finish. It retains just enough fresh acidity to keep it from being cloying.
