Herbal and tannic, this won't be mistaken for a cult Cab, but in its price range it offers authentic Cabernet flavors. The fruit is lean and the tannins slightly green, and the herbal side of the grape is much in evidence. But everything is in balance, and it avoids the watery soda pop flavors of most cheap Cabs.
