Nuits Saint-Georges based Liger-Belair has produced a very Burgundian Beaujolais. It is full, structured and rich, now reaching its peak. Great cherry fruits allied to intense acidity are balanced by mature tannins and a firm, dense texture. The wine is ready to drink, although it could still mature further.
