This starts out with rubbery aromas of iodine, but after some time it smells more like black grapes and plum. Sandpaper tannins make for a rough palate, while roasted plum and raspberry flavors have a salted note. Black-fruit flavors on the finish are braced by raw, scratchy tannins.
