Elegance is a hallmark of the winery's Pinots, and even this one, registering 15% alcohol, manages to keep from tasting overblown. It's thick and rich, for sure, loaded with cherry and plum fruit, with pepper, clay, Asian spices and dark chocolate. Lazy River is one of the components of the Winemaker's Cuvée, which is a lovely comparison companion bottle.
