Solid and deep, with straight-ahead, monotone aromas of cassis and blackberry. The palate is solid, full and offers nice feel and composition, while the flavor profile bursts with black cherry and dark plum flavors. Toasty and heated on the finish, with lingering tastes of licorice and burnt toast. Syrah with smaller amounts of Cab Franc, Carmenère and white Roussanne.
