Opens with mildly gassy, rubbery aromas that suggest reduction or brett. Once it airs out, however, it's a good, generic Cabernet with familiar flavors of black fruits, mocha and chocolate. It's a little herbal and lean across the palate and onto the finish, but for run-of-the-mill everyday Cab it does the trick.
