This has an attractive Nebbiolo nose of rose, violet, perfumed red berry, baking spices and a whiff of pressed powder. The structured palate delivers red cherry, raspberry, grilled herbs, white pepper, anise and a balsamic note alongside firm, fine-grained tannins and brisk acidity. A hint of mint backs up the finish.
