Calcite (chalk) is the nature of much of the bedrock of Pouilly. Here it gives a tight, mineral wine that's also full of ripe fruit and juicy apple flavors. Crisp at the edges and ripe in the center, it's a wine to age through 2015 to bring out the full fruitiness.
