Smoke and leather aromas get this one out of the blocks in fine fashion. The mouth is bursting with juicy berry and cherry fruit and there's tons of length and dark coffee nuances to the finish. It's certainly chunky; some might even call it a “fruit bomb.” But it holds onto its racy, fresh side, so despite its power, it's well-balanced and well-made.
