Even in difficult vintages like 2009 this winery produces outstanding Barolos. This has aromas of rosea and irises along with berries, Alpine herbs and baking spices. The palate offers a core of rich black cherry, white pepper and clove, along with firm but elegant tannins. Drink 2015–2024. Imported by Masciarelli Wine Co, Moonlight Wine Co.
