This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon was aged in a 50/50 mix of French and American oak. It is still quite astringent, tannic, and herbal, needing more bottle age to meld the somewhat harsh barrel flavors. The tart fruit flavors combine rhubarb and raspberries, black cherry and cassis.
