Lone Canary's Mike Scott has found some at the Milbrandt Vineyards, and this well-crafted bottle shows that the grape has some potential in Washington. Tart, sour cherry flavors are right up front in this young wine, which doesn't hide its sharp acids. Balanced with flavors of cherry and strawberry and no significant impact from the oak barrels, it's a good choice for those who like their wines racy and tart.
