This pours a hazy yellow-orange color, with a frothy white head that leaves good lacing behind. It drinks like a traditional American IPA, with forward, slightly resinous hop notes of grapefruit pith, orange oil and pine. The mouthfeel is slick and weighty, with a solid malt spine that supports the prominent dank, bitter hop-oil flavor. Secondary notes of ripe stone fruit and melon add richness to the palate.
