Here is a mouth-pleasing blend of 66% Merlot and 34% Cab Franc that builds the wine from the aromas out. The Merlot brings lush black cherry fruit to a broad midpalate, while the Cab Franc chimes in with roasted coffee and dark chocolate notes. The mix is perfect, tongue-coating and satisfying, right on through a long, peppery finish.
