Licorice candy and sweet black-fruit aromas control the nose along with a whiff of maple, while the palate is flush, baked and rich, with blackberry and chocolate. The focus isn't 100% exact, so things turn a touch wayward on the back palate and finish. Very good but a touch scattered and generic.
