A little reduced on the nose, so it opens with licorice and some gassy, rubbery qualities. Time sends it in a good direction; what's left is big, meaty fruit flavors with mild tannins and good overall balance. Full and chewy right now, so drink sooner rather than later. Best now through spring 2009.
