The joint venture between Bruno Prats, formerly of Cos d'Estournel in Bordeaux, and the Symington family has already produced some great wines. This latest release of Chryseia, a blend of classic Douro varieties, is packed with intense cigar box aromas, with elegant tannins and with flavors of ripe, almost juicy red fruits. A herbal character is also in the blend to give a warm feel to what is a sophisticated wine.
